Fact-Checking Policy
Fact-checking starts with the original source whenever it is available. Names, dates, project titles, quotes, social posts, event locations and public statements are checked before publication.
For fast celebrity stories, Jr Gossip separates confirmed facts from online reaction. Screenshots, reposts and viral clips are checked against the original account or earliest available source.
Archive material is reviewed for date and context. If later information changes the meaning of a story, the page should be updated so the article remains useful after the first news cycle.
Corrections can be sent to editor@jrgossip.com with the article URL, the suspected issue and a reliable source.
